Kirsti Clarke

My name is Kirsti Clarke.  When walking the dog one evening, March 12th, 2004
I fell, hit my head on the pavement and lost the ability to speak English.  My carer, who looked after me well, found me a place in Compaid, beginning 2005.  At Compaid and amongst other people there I slowly started to speak, drawing pictures helped me enormously and come out of my shell.  Compaid also helped me to gain back my confidence.

Coming from Finland I have seen the Northern Lights several times and they inspired me to draw them for this Christmas painting.
