Jean Burns

My name is Jean Burns. I have Multiple Sclerosis; one of the effects of this illness on me has made using my hands and arms very, very difficult.  When it was first suggested I come to Compaid, I was very wary, but I found the staff and helpers so friendly and helpful, that I didn’t only dabble my toes into using the computer art programme, but dived headlong into it, and have been swimming along for several years now, using this art programme to paint my own interpretation of pictures using photographs of landscapes, buildings and, my very favourite, flowers. Some of this artwork I have used for greetings cards, some of which Compaid have for sale.
