Jane Sanderson

My name is Jane. I came to Compaid twenty-two years ago, never, ever having touched a computer before. Over the years I have mastered many computer techniques, especially related to art. This painting I did on the computer using the “charcoal” effect. Many years ago I drew using charcoal and I drew a tree for my mother. The original was sold so I wanted to see if I could draw it again using the computer. This winter scene is my latest attempt at using Photopaint. I learned how to utilise various tools available in the programme which I have not used before, such as how to indicate shadows of the trees on the ground.
