COMPAID Trust offers assessment, via on-site or Outreach visit, providing practical one-to-one computer based assistance to people with a wide range of physical, sensory, learning and neurological disability including:-

Members of the public with disabilities, their families, friends, carers and/or professionals can contact the Assessment and Development Department. This Department offers advice on a wide range of subjects including the following:-

Computer accessing and enabling alternatives to conventional input devices e.g.

		tracker balls, touch screens, switches, voice recognition, alternative keyboards.
Special needs software	-	literacy and numeracy, cognitively stimulating exercises, life skills, art packages.
Communication aids	-	high and low technology, Light Writers, Liberator, Chameleon, speech input etc.

COMPAID Trust is a reference centre for Inclusive Technology.

Following an assessment for an individual needs, the Assessment and Development Department may recommend on-going attendance at the Activities Centre subject to availability of funding
